Terms of use
Last updated 19 August 2026
These are the terms for using this website, getfrank.ie, and for joining the Frank waitlist. They’re short because the site is simple: it tells you about Frank and lets you leave an email address.
The Frank rider and driver apps aren’t live yet. When they launch, using them will be covered by separate rider terms and a driver agreement, published here before you can sign up. Nothing on this page is a contract to provide, or to book, a taxi.
Who we are
“Frank”, “we” and “us” means the Frank taxi platform, based in Ireland. For anything about these terms, email florant@getfrank.ie.
Using the site
- You can browse the site freely. Don’t try to break it, scrape it at volume, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it to send spam or anything unlawful.
- The text, design, name and logo on the site belong to Frank. Quote us, link to us, share us — just don’t pass our material off as your own or imply we endorse something we don’t.
- We may change or take down any part of the site at any time, without notice.
The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist means giving us an email address so we can tell you when Frank launches near you. It doesn’t reserve a place, a ride, a driver slot or a price, and it doesn’t oblige you to use Frank later.
- Only add an address you’re entitled to use. You can leave the list at any time by emailing florant@getfrank.ie.
- How we handle the address is in our privacy notice.
Fares, figures and examples
Any fares, savings, earnings or comparisons shown on this site are illustrative examples based on the regulated National Maximum Taxi Fare. They are not quotes or guarantees. Real fares are set by the taxi meter on the day and may include tolls, extras and booking fees set by the regulator. The savings calculator on the driver page uses figures you enter plus an assumed commission rate for other platforms; your own numbers will differ.
Third-party links
We sometimes link to other sites (for example the Data Protection Commission or app stores). We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for what’s on them.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t promise that it will be, and we aren’t liable for losses from relying on information here or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes
If we change these terms we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes — such as adding app terms at launch — will be announced to the waitlist.
