Privacy notice
Last updated 20 August 2026
Frank isn’t live yet. Right now the only personal data this website collects is an email address, and only if you type one into the waitlist form. This notice explains what happens to it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the rider or driver waitlist.
- Which list you joined — rider or driver — and the date you joined.
That’s it. We don’t ask for your name, phone number, or address, and the site doesn’t run advertising or tracking cookies. To keep bots off the form we also rate-limit sign-ups by IP address — the IP lives in a counter for about a minute, then expires. It is never joined to your email address.
Why we collect it
To email you when Frank launches in your area, and occasionally about the launch itself. Nothing else. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form — and you can withdraw it at any time (see below).
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until 24 months after launch, whichever comes first. If Frank never launches, we’ll delete the list and tell you we’ve done it.
Who else sees it
Frank does not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone for their own purposes. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and store the list — they process the data on our instructions only:
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Upstash, whose database stores the waitlist — hosted in Dublin, as it happens.
Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. For a waitlist entry, “delete it” is usually the only one that matters, and we’ll action it the same week.
Email florant@getfrank.ie and say what you want. You don’t need to explain why.
Complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your data, please tell us first — we’d like the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Who we are
Frank is a pre-launch taxi platform based in Ireland. For anything to do with your data, contact florant@getfrank.ie.
Changes
If we start collecting anything beyond an email address — which will happen when the apps launch — we’ll publish an updated notice here before we do, and email the waitlist to say so.
