How do I keep 100% of the fare?
Frank charges drivers one flat monthly subscription to be on the platform. We take no commission and no per-ride cut, so the entire metered fare goes to you.
What does it cost to join?
One flat fee of €89 a month — no tiers, no per-ride charges. Your first month is free for founding drivers.
Do I have to leave my other apps?
No. Run Frank alongside FreeNow, Bolt or anything else — there’s no exclusivity clause and no penalty for taking a job somewhere else. €89 a month is the whole deal; what you do with the rest of your week is your business.
Is the €89 including VAT?
Yes. €89 is what leaves your account — there’s no second number and no surprise at the end of the month.
Whose card machine do I use?
Your own, exactly as you do today — SumUp, Zettle, whatever you already run. A card fare goes straight from the rider to you and never passes through Frank, so there’s nothing to wait for and nothing deducted. In-app payment comes after launch.
What counts as a founding driver?
Anyone on the driver list before Frank goes live in their city — that’s it. No cap, no invite code, no small print. Founding drivers get their first month free and are verified ahead of day one.
Will there be riders on day one?
Fewer than the big apps have — we’ll be straight about that. Frank only works if there are passengers, so we’re building the rider list in every city we open and launching both sides together. It’s why founding drivers get the first month free and can cancel any time with no contract: you’ll see whether the jobs are there before you pay a cent.
Do I need a licence?
Yes. Frank only onboards fully licensed SPSV drivers. Upload your licence and insurance once and we’ll verify your details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no lock-in, no exit fees. Pause or cancel whenever you like — being frank about pricing is the entire point.
When does Frank launch?
Autumn 2026 — a small founding-driver beta, then public launch, city by city across Ireland. Join the driver list and we’ll get you verified ahead of day one.
Frank started with a sum that never sat right: the driver does the work, and a percentage of a regulated meter leaves the car anyway — forever. There’s no technology reason for that. So we’re building the fairer version: software that matches riders with licensed drivers, charges a flat fee for the work the software actually does, and leaves the meter alone.
