What does it cost me to ride?
You pay the metered taxi fare — no surge multipliers and no platform markup. You’ll see a clear estimate up front, then pay what the meter reads.
Is Frank cheaper than the other apps?
The fare is the regulated NTA meter — the same meter every taxi in the country runs. What Frank never does is add anything on top: no surge multiplier, no platform markup, at any hour. And the whole fare goes to your driver.
Are Frank drivers licensed?
Always. Frank only works with fully licensed SPSV taxi drivers, so you get a professional, insured driver every single time.
How do I pay?
Cash or card, paid to your driver in the car for now — in-app card payment is coming after launch.
Will a car actually come?
Not yet — Frank isn’t live, and we won’t pretend otherwise. When we open a city we sign up and verify drivers there first, then launch both sides together, because an app with no cars is worse than no app. We’ll have fewer drivers than the big apps at the start and we’ll be straight about that too.
